Zonnique Pullins Talks About Telling Her Stepdad T.I She Was Pregnant On Live TV Says She Waited

On Fox Soul’s The Mix, Zonnique Pullins told her stepfather T.I that she was expecting. In a new interview, she explains why she waited so long to tell him.

T.I loves all his children equally. Although Pullins isn’t biologically his — he practically raised her.

When the family was on The Mix, there was someone who was pregnant on the Zoom call. When T.I took a guess he said that it was anyone except Zonnique. That’s when she spilled the beans and the rapper gave his raw reaction by saying he needs another drink and a joint.

Since the singer is five months and had an entire magazine spread shortly after the news broke, many people assumed that he already knew. This is not the case.

Pullins recently exclusively talked to Atlanta Black Star where she explained why she told him on the show.

‘I feel like that he probably had a little, you know, like my, a couple of my family members knew so I feel like he probably had a little idea but he was really waiting on me to tell him. That’s what I really feel like was going on, but that was definitely his reaction, which I kind of felt like it would be something similar to that so I wasn’t surprised’

She went on to say that she kept it a secret from both of her dads and other family members.

‘I can’t really say because I waited long to tell a lot of my family members. My dads, both my dads were like my biggest thing. Even with my real dad, when I told him, he was like ‘Why did you wait so long to tell me? Like you know, you act like I was gon’ whoop you or somethin.’’
