Vincent Van Patten is an American professional tennis player, poker commentator, and actor.

He is the son of dancer and actress Pat Van Patten (born Patricia Helm Poole) and actor and animal welfare advocate Dick Van Patten. Vincent is married to actress, author, television personality, and model Eileen Davidson. He has two children with his former wife, actress Betsy Russell; and a son with Eileen.

Vincent is a first cousin of actress Talia Balsam and a half-cousin of actress Grace Van Patten.

Vincent’s paternal grandfather was Richard Byron Van Patten (the son of John Peter Van Patten and Florence Lucinda Tyler). Richard was born in New York. John was the son of Byron Van Pattern and Elizabeth Abigail Butler, whose mother was German, from Württemberg. Florence was the daughter of Edwin Forest Tyler and Anna Otten.
