His biological father, Abdallel, was Lebanese, and his biological mother, Nadia, had roots in Baniyas, Syria. He was adopted by an American couple, in Miami, Florida. His adoptive father was of Greek descent, and his adoptive mother was of Lebanese descent. Marcus is married to Roberta “Bobbi” Raffel.
