Gigi Hadid in Bathing Suit Salutes "Friendship" Celebwell
Gigi Hadid is launching her own line of bikinis with her friend's company, Frankie's Bikinis. In the official video announcement on Instagram, Hadid modeled some pieces from the line. The caption said, "For those who don't know, Gigi and Francesca grew up together spending most of their free time at the beach. Their simple days in Malibu shaped their appreciation for the strong friendship they would develop over the years. They've supported each other since the beginning, which is why coming together to design a collection all these years later is a full circle moment for them. The collection is rooted in friendship and inspired by Gigi's care-free days at her family's dreamy countryside home, full of sentiment and nostalgia." How does she stay so fit? Hadid spilled some of her diet and exercise secrets to People. She revealed that one of her biggest secrets is staying consistent. Hadid says that this is easy for her, since she grew up as an athlete. "My biggest thing is just eat healthy and work out," she says. "I was a volleyball player for 12 years, I rode horses my whole life, and now I box every day."
Hadid tells People that while she eats a healthy diet, she also isn't afraid to indulge. She says that she believes in having a cheat day once in a while, her go-to usually being a burger. "The biggest thing I always say is, eat clean to stay fit, and then have a cheat day to stay sane."
Hadid is a big fan of boxing as a way to work out. She says that she goes to the gym for a session on a regular basis. "When you're boxing, you get so into it mentally that you kind of forget what's going on, you forget that you're working out," she told Vogue. "You always want more."
Hadid opened up about her struggles with mental health, specifically anxiety, at the Reebok Perfect Never live panel. She says that she gets nervous before her interviews, and the way she gets through it is by repeating positive affirmations to herself. "Sometimes I have to literally sit myself down and be like, 'You are a good person. You go into everything you do with a good heart and with good intentions.'"
Hadid has incredible skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. However, she tells Vogue that she doesn't use a whole lot of expensive products. "I've always gone for drugstore skincare," she said. "I just always wanted good products and I don't think you have to pay a lot for that." Hadid says that she likes to use all-purpose ointment as a moisturizer. "I dab it on where my skin feels dry, sometimes on the tip of my nose. I find that right where my eyebrows start gets really dry. I think that eyebrow product and pencil goes on better."
